Once in a while you see something that you immediately know you have to paint. Sometimes it is special lighting, sometimes an evocative scene, sometimes a gesture. Often it is fleeting and requires a quick shot with the camera to capture. So it was with this small French girl, lost in the moment, dabbling her fishing net off a footbridge in England.
